A Health Update from Lili and Juan

A note from Juan, Lili’s husband: Free Scrapbooking has always been more than a website. It is part of Lili’s creative life, built page by page through years of designing planners, printable papers, and collections for people who love making memories by hand.

Why Lili is taking a break in 2026

This year, Lili will not be able to continue her usual schedule of new publications and collections. She is currently on medical leave while dealing with ongoing pain in her wrists, lower back, and sciatic area. Designing may look gentle from the outside, but it requires many hours at a computer, careful hand movements, and long periods in the same position. Right now, those are exactly the things that are difficult for her.

We do not want to turn her health into a marketing story, and we do not want to make promises about a return date. Her priority is to rest, follow professional advice, and recover without the pressure of a publishing calendar. Existing Free Scrapbooking downloads will remain available whenever possible, but visitors should not expect the same flow of new work from Lili during 2026.

The creative journey continues at ScrapBujo

I am Juan, Lili’s husband. I have been close to this project behind the scenes, and I am now putting much of my own work into ScrapBujo. It is a related but independently edited website where I am publishing new digital scrapbooking collections, practical articles, Etsy collection guides, and a growing library of freebies.

If you came here looking for newly released printable scrapbook paper, the best place to continue is the ScrapBujo free-download library. Each download page explains what is included and how the files can be used. ScrapBujo also publishes hands-on help, including a guide to printing 12×12 digital scrapbook paper and a free 300 DPI pixel calculator for checking print sizes before using ink and paper.

What will happen to Free Scrapbooking?

The website and its existing resources will stay online as long as we can maintain them safely.
Lili is not committing to a new release schedule in 2026.
Juan will publish occasional updates here when they are genuinely useful to readers.
New freebies, tutorials, and collection news will be concentrated at ScrapBujo.
Older pages may be updated to correct broken links, outdated instructions, or printing information.

This is not a sale of Lili’s story or an attempt to replace her voice. It is simply our way of caring for the work she has already shared while giving her the space she needs. ScrapBujo carries forward the same love of printable paper and memory keeping, but the new articles and collections there are selected and published by me.
